The Asia Pacific Lottery Association (APLA) is one of the World Lottery Association’s (WLA) five regional branches, representing 25 lotteries from ten countries with combined annual revenue of more than $21bn.
As a member of the association, Vermantia joins a community of “acknowledged gaming organisations, committed to cultivating and strengthening communications for the benefit of sharing information and experience within the worldwide lottery industry,” the supplier said.
The deal further bolsters the company’s growing global presence, with Vermantia providing tailored content to clients worldwide.
“This new membership in APLA association recognizes Vermantia’s remarkable growth and progress in a transformational 2015 within the lottery industry,” the supplier’s chief executive Filippos Antonopoulos (pictured) commented.
“We firmly believe that our participation in APLA will benefit our business, as this will enable us to move into a US$21 billion gaming market, introduce our premium content and bring best-of-breed gaming services to Asia Pacific lotteries,” he said.
